The Sun Video Journalist (Sport and News)

I was formerly a freelance video producer for The Sun covering breaking stories on both sport and news. My role included sourcing appropriate and relevant video material both from agencies and online and editing it to appropriately suit the style and format. I started as a sports video producer and then took on shifts on the wider video desk as well, covering news, showbiz, and real life. My job was very orientated towards a public audience as the videos were being viewed by hundreds of thousands of people.

I created videos for The Sun Online site and for The Sun’s YouTube channel.

Through this role, I developed a solid understanding of copyright law, as it is so ingrained into everyday working practices.

• Boxing: (Poirier v McGregor – Paul v Woodley – AJ v Usyk – Fury v Wilder, to name a few)
