About

I am an experienced journalist with a strong background in fast-paced, high-impact news environments, specialising in video production and storytelling. I began my journey in media through extensive involvement in student radio, developing a foundation in live broadcasting and audience engagement before starting my professional career at The Sun as a breaking news video journalist.

I later joined The Guardian, where I took on the role of the reactive sports editor, and have since progressed to serve as the deputy reactive news editor for video. In this role, I oversee breaking news video output across the Guardian’s website and news channel on YouTube, ensuring timely, accurate, and engaging coverage of major global events.

Alongside my newsroom work, I have also contributed to live event coverage, working with The Boat Race on social media across the 2021/2022 season, including the Oxford–Cambridge Boat Race itself. Throughout my career, I have combined editorial leadership with hands-on production expertise, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality video journalism that resonates with diverse digital audiences.
